' Celani Family Vineyards in the Spring

There's a myth in the Napa Valley.  It’s something we tell ourselves in the in the middle of harvest when our hands are grape stained and our backs are just about broken.  The great carrot, ever out of reach:  When harvest is over, we're taking the winter off!

No one in Napa takes the winter off.

This year at Celani Family Vineyards, this winter proved to be as busy as the last.  We grafted a portion of our Merlot vineyard over to Cabernet Franc.  We prepped for bottling our Vincenza Rose (We're so excited about it!), and we’ve even brought in someone new to greet you at the Estate.

The next time you come by, say hello to the newest member of Celani Family Vineyards, Wendy Day.

Clockwise from the left:  Wendy Day; 2009 Tenacious; Tom and Vicki Celani.

Wendy is a native Californian who fell in love with wine while working at a small restaurant in Northern California.  She eventually bought the tiny bistro, and after several years traded it in for a wine job in the Napa Valley.  Now, you can find her at our Estate where she is eager to show you why we fell in love with the wine business.   She can be reached at: wday@celaniwines.com or at the winery 707-255-5645.  She would love to hear from you.

If in the midst of your own busy season, you haven’t been able to pick up your allocation of wine, don’t worry!  We can still get it out to you.  While we don’t make much wine, we do save current releases for people on our mailing list.

Click the wines below to go directly to our shopping cart.  Or, if you’d prefer, give us a call and we can take your order over the phone:  707-255-5645.  If heat is a concern in your region, we will reach out to you to determine the best shipping method for your wine.

We’ve been receiving some great press on these wines, but more importantly than press, we love the way they taste!

Cheers!

Tom and Vicki Celani
